A man was eaten by a lion at the Kyiv zoo on Monday after he climbed into the cage and shouted: “God will save me, if he exists,” a zoo official said.
He walked towards the lions screaming. But it did not take long for one of the cats to arrive, it knocked him down and cut his carotid artery.
The zoo was packed on Sunday afternoon.
